About Us
Laduma Data Free is a South African site about one thing. Betting on your phone without using your data.
Why we built it
Data is expensive here. A lot of people bet from a phone with very little on it, and running out of data in the middle of a Saturday is a real thing that happens to real punters.
Several bookmakers solved that. They pay for your data so you can reach their app and bet on an empty balance. Almost nobody explains it properly, and the lists you find online were copied from each other years ago.
What we do differently
- We check the bookmaker’s own website. Not other comparison sites.
- We list five bookmakers, not ten. Five is how many we could actually confirm.
- We name the ones we could not confirm, and say why, instead of quietly copying them across.
- We explain what is not covered. Slots, live streaming, some deposits. The gaps cost people money.
- We do not print bonus amounts that will be out of date next month.
Who writes it
Our editorial team. We are independent of every bookmaker on this site. Nobody pays us to write anything, and no bookmaker sees a page before it is published.
How we check, rank and correct things is set out in full on our editorial policy.
How we make money
We earn a commission when somebody opens a bookmaker account through one of our links. You pay nothing extra for it and your odds, bonus and account are identical either way.
It does not decide the order bookmakers appear in. If it did, this site would be no better than the ones we set out to replace.
What we do not do
- We do not take bets.
- We do not give tips.
- We do not cover online casinos. They are not legal in South Africa.
- We do not list unlicensed bookmakers.

Found a mistake? Know a bookmaker with a data free product we have missed? Email info@ladumadatafree.co.za. If you can send the page on the bookmaker’s own site that shows it, even better.
Betting in South Africa is restricted to people aged 18 and over. Gambling can become compulsive. Winners know when to stop. The National Responsible Gambling Programme is there on 0800 006 008, or WhatsApp 076 675 0710.
