Easybet Data Free: The Site, the App and the Login

Easybet data free is Easybet’s Android app for betting without using your data, and Easybet says no data is used to download it either. Easybet’s About Us page says you can bet without using data with its Data Free App. The Download App button on Easybet’s Play Data Free page leads to a download page marked Powered By Datafree, and Datafree’s own site says a service on its platform stays reachable when a user has zero airtime or data. Datafree’s service is reverse billed, which means the business is charged for the data instead of your airtime or bundle, so an empty phone can still reach it.

Two things carry the data free tag on Easybet:

The data free landing page. The address easybet.freeurl.co.za is one screen with the Download App button for the Android app, the install steps and a link to the main website. It has no sports, odds or login of its own, so you do not bet on it.
The data free Android app. The app you bet in, and Easybet says downloading it uses no data.

The landing page marks the main Easybet website, easybet.co.za, as not data free, so anything you do there uses your data.

Where to find Easybet data free

Easybet’s data free landing page sits at easybet.freeurl.co.za, and its page title calls it Easybet Data Free. You get to it from the Play Data Free link in the footer of the main Easybet site, or by typing the address in yourself. The main site also has a Play Data Free page at easybet.co.za/page/play-data-free, which repeats the install steps and has its own Download App button.

The landing page labels its Download App button “This is Data Free” and the link to the main website “This is NOT Data Free”, so you can see which link keeps you off your bundle before you tap.

The data free app and the free download

Easybet’s data free landing page and its Play Data Free page both say “no data will be used for the download”, so you can fetch the app with an empty balance. The Download App button on the landing page fetches an APK file, easybet.apk, from Easybet’s own easybetapp.freeurl.co.za address.

Every data free install step Easybet gives is for an Android phone and the file is an Android APK, so the data free app is for Android. Easybet also has an iPhone app on the Apple App Store, but none of its pages calls that one data free. When we opened the Play Data Free page’s download link as an iPhone from South Africa on 26 Sept, it said the app being requested was unknown or currently unavailable.

Android, data free: tap Download App on easybet.freeurl.co.za, and Easybet says no data is used for the download.
iPhone: Easybet’s App Store app, listed by Backspace Technologies Pty Ltd, needs iOS 15.0 or later and was last updated in September 2026. Easybet does not call it data free, so fetch it on wifi if you can.

Installing the data free APK step by step

Easybet’s data free landing page gives these six steps. As with other apps you install this way on Android, you first allow installations from unknown sources.

Go to your phone’s Settings and open Security.
Find Device Administration and tick Allow Unknown Source.
When a box pops up, tap OK so the phone keeps the new setting.
Go back to easybet.freeurl.co.za and tap Download App, which uses no data.
Install the app when the download finishes.
Tap Open, then sign up as a new customer or use the login screen with your Easybet account.

Take the APK only from the Download App button on easybet.freeurl.co.za or on Easybet’s Play Data Free page, not from an APK download site, so you know the file came from Easybet.

The regular Easybet app

Easybet’s app downloads page at easybet.co.za/page/app-downloads is for its regular app, which it says is available for all devices, and it invites you to download it for exclusive benefits and bonuses without naming them. Its Android steps are the same six, and it links to the App Store app for iPhone and to Huawei AppGallery for Huawei phones. That page does not say the regular app or its download is data free, so with an empty balance use the data free landing page instead.

What is zero rated and what still costs data

Easybet says two things about what the data free app covers: its About Us page says you can bet on it without using data, and its landing page names what stays off it. No Easybet page lists which parts of the app are zero rated, so treat anything beyond placing bets as unconfirmed until you have checked your own balance.

Main website only: slots and live dealer games. Easybet’s landing page says these “will only work on the Main Website and not the Data Free App”, so they use your data.
Deposits: Easybet’s deposit help walks through each payment method without mentioning data, so treat paying in as unconfirmed.

The main Easybet site’s menu runs Sports, Aviator, Easy Spins, Live Dealer, Lucky Numbers, Horse Racing, BetGames and Spin & Win. Easybet names only slots and live dealer games as main website only, and no Easybet page says which of the others, Aviator included, the data free app carries, so check in the app before you count on one.

Which networks it works on

None of Easybet’s data free pages names the networks its app runs on. Datafree, the platform behind the download page on Easybet’s Play Data Free page, says it is reverse billed across all major South African networks, and it names none of them either. If you are on a smaller network or a new SIM, open the data free app once with an empty balance and place a small bet before you count on it.

How to log in on the data free version

The last of Easybet’s install steps has you open the app and either sign up or log in, which means the account you already hold with Easybet works in the data free app too, with no separate data free account to open.

Already registered: log in with the email address or mobile number and the password on your Easybet account, which is what Easybet’s login form asks for.
New: sign up from the app. Easybet’s registration help says you start by entering your mobile number, and its terms ask for a South African ID number or passport number and say you must be at least 18.
Forgotten password: use the Recover it link beside Forgot password on the login screen, and Easybet sends a confirmation code to your phone or email.

Easybet’s FICA help says the law requires bookmakers in South Africa to keep a copy of your ID and a proof of address no older than 3 months, and that the provincial boards ask for the same checks when an account is activated, so have both ready when you open your account.

Welcome offers and the free bet

Two of Easybet’s offers for new accounts are a sign up bonus of R50 plus 25 free spins with the code PLAY50 and a 150% match on your first deposit, and it also has a free bet page with its own terms.

The R50 sign up bonus

What you get: R50 in a bonus wallet plus 25 free spins, with no deposit or bet needed to receive them.
How to claim: enter PLAY50 on the second step of registering.
Playthrough: bet the R50 3 times at odds of 3.0 or more within 10 days, on sport or Lucky Numbers. Easybet’s own example is R150 of bets at 3.0 or more.
Withdrawing: deposit at least R99 and place R99 of real money bets at odds of 2.0 or more, and the most you can withdraw from the bonus wallet is R300.
Free spins: 20 cents each, so R5 in all, on Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush or Joker’s Jewels, and they expire 5 days after they are credited.
One per person: one sign up bonus per address, IP address, device or mobile number.

The 150% first deposit match

The deposit match gives you 150% of your first deposit as either a sports bonus or a casino bonus, and you choose one. Its terms set a first deposit of at least R50, a bonus of R75 to R5,000 and 30 days from registration to qualify. Your account must be FICA verified before the bonus is credited, and you claim it through live chat or by emailing help@easybet.co.za.

Sports version: bet 4 times your first deposit at odds of 3.0 or more to unlock a bonus bet of 150% of that deposit. Easybet’s example is a R100 deposit, R400 of sports bets at 3.0 or more and a R150 bonus bet, and the full R5,000 takes a first deposit of R3,333.33 and R13,333.32 of bets. Unused bonus bets expire 14 days after they are credited.
Casino version: bet fifteen times your first deposit on slots, so R1,500 on a R100 deposit, to unlock a casino bonus of 150% of that deposit. Only slot bets count towards that total, and the bonus then has to be played through once on casino games before you can withdraw winnings.
Winnings cap: R10,000 from each version.

Worth knowing: you pick one version, because choosing the casino bonus forfeits the sports bonus and the other way round.

The free bet

Easybet’s free bet page, easybet.co.za/page/free-bet-1-ib, tells you that you have received a bonus bet without giving its value, and sets these terms: bet 4 times its value at odds of 1.50 or more, and use it within 10 days of it being credited. It works only on sport or Lucky Numbers, bets placed with it cannot be cashed out, and you keep the winnings but not the stake.

Deposits and withdrawals

Easybet’s deposit help lists 1Voucher, OTT Voucher, Blu Voucher, credit and debit cards, Ozow, Snapscan, Easyload and Easybet Instant EFT. Withdrawals go to Ozow, Instant Money or an OTT eWallet, your first withdrawal must go through Ozow, and Easybet approves up to two withdrawals every 24 hours. Easybet says withdrawals generally take one to two business days to reach your bank account, and the smallest bet you can place online is R1.

Is Easybet a licensed bookmaker

Yes. The footer of the main Easybet site names two South African bookmaker licences:

Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board: Easybet Group (Pty) Ltd, bookmaker licence 10191733-004, issued on 1 December 2025.
Eastern Cape Gambling Board: Easybet Group EC (Pty) Ltd, bookmaker licence ECBM 029, issued on 1 April 2025.

The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board’s own list of licensed bookmakers includes Easybet Group (Pty) Ltd. Easybet’s terms give its registered office as 117 Strand Street in Cape Town, and you must be at least 18 to hold an account. The data free app suits you if you have an Android phone and you bet on sport, because Easybet says both the betting and the download use none of your data, so you can get set up from an empty balance.

It suits you less if you have an iPhone, because none of Easybet’s pages calls its App Store app data free, or if you mainly play slots or live dealer games, because Easybet keeps those on the main website, where they use your data.
